Monomyth – Orbis Quadrantis
Monomyth; five Flying Dutchmen who have been creating the most exciting instrumental soundscapes since 2011. Coming from The Hague, Monomyth pushes the boundaries of space and stoner rock. In 2019, the band opens a new chapter with their fourth album Orbis Quadrantis.
On Orbis Quadrantis, Monomyth, who already made the boards of Roadburn and Desertfest London, Berlin and Antwerp creak, explores uncharted waters. Yet their meticulous psychedelics still lie somewhere between Ariel Pink and Pink Floyd, always with an open end.
The first vinyl edition in both 180g ‘black’ and limited 180g ‘clear transparent blue and black mixed’ vinyl comes in a 6-panel fold-out cover with double-sided artwork, black polybag inner sleeve and transparent plastic outer sleeve with Monomyth logo!
