Roine Stolt’s The Flower King – Manifesto Of An Alchemist

Roine Stolt (The Flower Kings, Transatlantic, Agents of Mercy, Kaipa DC) is a Swedish guitarist, singer and composer. Stolt, an important figure in Swedish rock history.

He led two of the most successful progressive rock bands in his country: Kaipa in the 1970s and The Flower Kings from the 1990s to the present. Under the name Roine Stolt’s The Flower King, “Manifesto Of An Alchemist” offers ten songs and almost seventy minutes of playing time in the style Stolt is best known for: progressive rock, richly orchestrated with all the trademark elements of four decades of prog.

‘The circle is complete; where the adventure began in 1994 with “The Flower King” there is now finally a worthy successor, albeit almost twenty-five years later and many personnel changes later. On this new album, as the name suggests, he is the undisputed, sovereign sole ruler: there is only one real Flower King. It was meant to be.’ (Progwereld)
