White Slice – Antarctica
Punk Is Not Dead – No expensive studios, fancy rehearsal spaces or well-thought-out marketing plan. White Slice started in a barn in early 2012, went on stage after eight rehearsal sessions and then recorded their debut album in two days at the end of 2012. What do you mean, tomato sauce on your pizza? It’s all just decoration, have a White Slice! The members of White Slice are not new to the scene. They previously played in bands such as Malkovich, Gewapend Beton, Local Spastics, Brat Pack and Bullerslug. Antarctica is just as straight forward as the band itself. In nineteen minutes, the nine garage grunge songs rush by and leave you bewildered, begging for more.
The album was recorded at Amsterdam Recording Company, under the watchful eye of Igor Wouters (Backfire!/GOLD).
