X Raiders – Rectum Raiders
They are called Rectum Raiders. Five men who once again expose the true meaning of rock ‘n’ roll in 2017: a dirty mix of everything that is hard, fast and heavy, with a hard kick below the belt. On March 3, it will be released in the form of the debut album Rectum Raiders.
With their first album, the Rectum Raiders show that they transcend the apparent limitation of their repulsive name. Produced by Jochem Jacobs (Textures), this album throws a noose around your neck and drags you into a merciless moshpit of heavy rock violence. Expect an overdose of high-energy rock ‘n’ roll with absurd lyrics, intense riffs and unpredictable compositions.
The band is inspired by unmistakable rock gods such as Judas Priest, Turbonegro and national heroes such as Peter Pan Speedrock. It therefore seems high time to present the Rectum Raiders as the new guard of the Dutch rock empire.
Of course, Rectum Raiders are known for their energetic and unruly live shows. They played at festivals like Paaspop and Zwarte Cross, and toured Taiwan. But with this album, the five men come out of their shell.
